GENE DeJACKOME
DIRECTOR, STRATEGY & BUSINESS PLANNING

Gene DeJackome is the Director of Strategy and Business Planning for Lantz Group.  He is passionate about helping people and organizations access their full potential by identifying and leveraging growth opportunities.

Gene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, and an M.B.A from Washington University's Olin School of Business in St. Louis, Missouri.

Gene has a track record of driving increased revenue and profitability in business units ranging from $20 to $600 million in annual turnover. Through a series of management and leadership roles within the global chemical industry, he has accumulated a wealth of direct, hands-on experience improving the business drivers of strategic planning, new business development, sales channel management, business process redesign and change management, market segmentation, value chain analysis and sales account management.

Gene received the 2018 Maryland International Business Growth Award to accelerate sales of Maryland-produced products into the global market. In his management positions, Mr. DeJackome has successfully grown businesses in Asia, Oceana, South Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and South America. Most recently, he was the driving force behind setting up new sales channels into China, Qatar, and the U.A.E. for aerospace cleaning products.

Before joining Lantz Group, Gene was President of Celeste Industries, a specialty chemical company focused on the commercial airline industry.

A native of western Massachusetts, Gene now splits his time between residence in Annapolis and eastern Canada, where he enjoys golf, hiking, biking, and downhill skiing.
